Who is on the line
People injured in a recent crash, screened for fault, injury, whether treatment has started, and whether they already have an attorney. Callers who were at fault, who report no injury, or who are already represented do not reach your intake team. Around those four the screener collects the date and the state of the crash, whether police responded and a report number exists, whether the caller was the driver, a passenger, or on foot, whether an ambulance or an emergency room was involved, and whether the other vehicle was commercial or a rideshare, since those change who your firm would be dealing with. Property damage with no injury is not a transfer. Neither is a caller whose only complaint is soreness that has not been looked at, unless your intake says otherwise, and plenty of firms do.

Attorney advertising, reviewed before it runs
Ad copy, landing pages, and the screening script go to your compliance reviewer before launch, and calls are recorded from the first ring. Solicitation rules, disclaimer requirements, and the waiting periods some states impose after a crash differ by bar and get amended with little notice. Your counsel decides what our copy is allowed to say. We build to that decision and bring it back for review whenever you tell us a rule has moved. Two things the screener never does: give legal advice, and say anything about what a case might be worth. Callers who ask are told an attorney will answer that, and the recording shows the question and the answer. Every call in this vertical is inbound, placed by the person themselves after they saw an ad and chose to dial, and no number is worked off a crash report list.

Channels that feed it
Paid search carries most of the volume, because crash victims and their families search within hours. Pay per call adds inbound from partner media in markets where search is crowded, and paid social retargets people who read and did not call. Time since accident is tracked as its own metric next to cost per signed case. Nearly all of it is mobile and nearly all of it is a tap on the number in the ad, so the landing page matters less here than the phone tree behind it. Bids run heaviest in the evening and across the weekend, when crashes happen and offices are closed. Search terms about filing a claim without a lawyer, about jobs at law firms, and about vehicle repair are negatived out, because they are clicks that never become a call your intake wants. Retargeting windows stay short, days rather than weeks.
